I was on an on-call job and got lost on the way home at 3 a.m. in the
morning and Bay Area 2nd Mom came to get me. Their counselors have really
encouraged me about finding work. I have gained a lot of confidence from
the on-call work... going to different families all the time has helped
me gain confidence in myself. I used to get so nervous on interviews,
but because of the on-call I don't get nervous anymore. The CPR and First
Aid training has prepared me for emergencies on the job. Orientation was
very helpful, and so was the follow up to make sure CPR and First Aid
are current. If something were to happen I would be prepared."
